Luxury Swiss tents, a lively stage-and-pool evening, and home-style Rajasthani dinners — a complete desert stay for families and couples at Sam Sand Dunes.
You book Desert Fortune Resort — you stay at Desert Fortune Resort. No third-party agent, no last-minute "sister camp."
Speak to the camp directly on call or WhatsApp before any advance — we'll share your exact tent on video call.
A screened, decent crowd every night — so parents relax and couples get a peaceful stay. No Stag Entry, Ever.
Our cultural program sits at the centre of camp, with the pool right beside it — easy to watch, easy to dip in.
This is the schedule every guest can expect — everything below is included with every tent, except the two optional safari add-ons.

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM with a welcome drink of hot tea or coffee as you settle in. From there, the evening is yours to ease into — relax in your tent, or take a first dip in the pool before the day's activities begin.

For guests who'd like to explore further, our jeep carries you roughly 20 km round-trip into the open dunes (up to 6 guests per jeep), where a camel ride — twin-sharing, about 800 mtrs - 1 km — takes you out to watch the sun go down over the sand, before the jeep brings you back after sunset.

Back at the gate, every guest is welcomed the same way — a traditional tika and the beat of a dhol drum, whether you're arriving fresh after sunset or returning from the dunes.

Local artists perform traditional Rajasthani music and folk dances — Kalbelia, Chari Ghoomar, Bhavai and more — alongside a fire show, with tea, coffee and refreshments (We only serve pure vegetarian food) served through the evening. In winter, the show continues around a bonfire on the camp ground.

Music continues after the cultural show — — upbeat and family-friendly, comfortable enough that grandparents and kids both stay on the dance floor. No stag groups, no rowdy crowd, just a good night.

Served at our restaurant — Rajasthani classics like dal baati churma and gatta curry alongside North Indian favourites: paneer, dal, rice, chapati, mixed vegetables and papad etc. (We only serve pure vegetarian food).

Wind down at your own pace — rest in your tent, step out to your open private seating area, or take a last swim under a sky full of stars before turning in for the night.

The same camel and jeep route, run in reverse — early risers catch the dunes waking up under completely different light. Worth doing alongside the sunset safari, not instead of it.

A final swim, a full breakfast (We only serve pure vegetarian food), and will say goodbye to you by 10:00 AM — an easy, unhurried close to the stay.
Every category shares the same true 14×28 ft canvas — what changes as you move up is comfort, not the size we tell you about.

Simple, comfortable, and close to nature — Non-AC canvas comfort for value-conscious families.

Our most-booked category — air-conditioned comfort with the charm of a traditional charpai corner.

Our quietest tents, furthest from the stage — air-conditioned comfort with a private bathtub.

Our entry-level canvas tent, built on the same true 14×28 ft Swiss structure as every category here. Ceiling-fan cooled and ideal for cooler months, it's designed for families who want genuine desert comfort without paying for air-conditioning they may not need.

Everything in Deluxe, upgraded with air-conditioning and thoughtful in-room touches — a full-size mirror, wooden cloth stand, traditional charpai seating and a tea/coffee maker for your own quiet moments before the evening program begins.

The most private of our three categories — everything in Executive, plus a bathtub for unwinding after a day in the dunes. Positioned furthest from the stage for a quieter corner of camp, ideal for anniversaries and honeymoons.
Room prices already include the full evening above. These are optional experiences for guests who want to spend more time out in the dunes.
For guests who want the dunes to come at them fast. A roughly 20 km loop out from camp and back, cresting ridge after ridge, built for groups of up to six. Runs at sunset or sunrise — your call.
The oldest way to cross this sand. A steady kilometre out on camelback, twin-sharing, swaying past dunes that haven't changed in a thousand years — no engine, no rush, just the sound of the sand underfoot.
Your hands on the throttle this time. Self-drive quad bikes across a marked stretch of open dune — the loudest, most kid-approved few mintues of the whole stay.
Come back after dark and the same dunes feel like a different country — the heat gone, the noise gone, just a sky doing something your rooftop back home never does.
One table, one lantern, a stretch of sand entirely to yourselves, far enough from camp that the only soundtrack is the wind. Built for anniversaries, proposals, or an evening you just don't want to share.
Tell us your group size and how adventurous you're feeling — we'll build the evening around you, not the other way around.
No stock photos, no wide-angle tricks — this is what's really waiting for you at Sam Sand Dunes.
